Therapeutic Technique

I strive to grasp your presenting issue thoroughly, look for linkages and current behavioural patterns, and collaborate with you to develop effective solutions. According to mutual assessments of the challenges during the stages of the therapeutic process, I integrate psychodynamic therapeutic approaches and cognitive-behavioural methods (CBT) or ACT, regarded as a "third wave" therapy, in my work.

I employ a holistic approach, addressing the person as a whole rather than just their symptoms. The therapeutic relationship is a crucial foundation for development and recovery. I make a sincere effort to create a welcoming environment that is safe, welcoming and accepting.

Research

For more than 20 years, I have been performing psychological research. I hold a PhD (in human memory) and spent over five years as a postdoc researcher (attachment process and neuroscience). You are welcome to take a look at my publications. I currently offer consultation for startups and tech companies interested in improving their users' experience, which always involves understanding human needs, desires and wishes.

As a researcher, I am qualified in various methodologies, including observational studies, quantitative methods, case studies and work involving magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) analyses.

The Human-Tech Interface

Combining my two career trajectories is something that particularly excites me.

Offering psychotherapy to individuals who work heavily in the technology field and cope with issues such as burnout, stress, anxiety, and depression adds to the difficulties of daily struggles.

Furthermore, I counsel tech companies to encourage employee mental health and well-being and address technology use problems in the workplace.

Additionally, I advise clients on product design and implementation based on my psychology and psychological research expertise. I conduct user experience research and offer the user perspective to engineering and product teams.

Being tech-aware throughout my work has been tremendously helpful.
